Healthy & Tasty:Dr. J's Anti-Yeast Cooking
by Dr. Juliet Tien, D.N.Sc.

SYNOPSIS:

This simple and easy-to-follow cookbook is not meant to give you an extensive list of recipes. Rather, it teaches you basic principles of anti-yeast cooking. Once you are familiar with these principles, you will be able to create recipes to suit your taste.

When you create your own recipes, just remember to avoid using heavy spices. Heavy spices, such as spicy-hot red, green or black pepper, are too stimulating to your digestive tract and may cause diarrhea or heart- burn if your digestive system is weak. Continuous and excessive use of heavy spices can also weaken the functioning of your liver and kidneys.

Once you get used to my way of cooking and eating, you may not want to go back to the old way. The Standard American Diet (SAD) will soon become history. When you follow this anti-yeast nutritional program diligently, your taste buds will change. You may also experience tremendous relief from symptoms of allergies, arthritis, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), cancer, chronic fatigue, diabetes, headaches, hypertension, low immunity, Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS), skin disorders and weight problems.

The book also answers frequently asked questions such as:

  • How long should I stay on Dr. J's anti-yeast nutritional program?
  • Can I eat "regular" food once my yeast disorder symptoms are under control?
  • Is it necessary for me to eat organic food in order to control yeast overgrowth?
  • Is it more expensive to stay on Dr. J's anti-yeast nutritional program than eat "regular" food?
  • Why don't you include nutritional analysis in your recipes?
  • Should I not get on Dr. J's anti-yeast nutritional program if I cannot be on it 100%?
  • I am confused because there are so many conflicting nutritional theories out there. What should I do?
